Barrel bolt, bronzed with 2 screws, 4" long, with sliding bolt. 3. Door butt, 1 side only, for hinged doors (bronzed, embossed with scroll design). 1 7/8" w x 4" long, 4 screw holes, 2 screws. 4. Door butt, one side only, for hinged doors, bronzed, embossed scroll design. 1 7/8" w x 4" long. 4 screw holes, no screws. 5. Escutcheon plate for doorknob, embossed, triangle shape, extensions. 6. Escutcheons plate for doorknob, bronzed, scroll design embossed, triangle shape with 2 extended feet at bottom in center for doorknob. Green painted with worn spots showing bronze color. 5" long x 2" diameter 7. Keyhole escutcheon, ornamental bronze metal, one keyhole. 1 1/8" x 2.5" 8. 2 piece cupboard door bolt, bronze with white porcelain knob. 3" long x 1" wide. Wing tip ends with flower pattern embossed. 1"x1" bolt open end. Embossed design. All above escutcheons are polished bronze with a background a dark finish. All above articles are pictured and described in Montgomery Ward Catalog, Fall & Winter, 1894 - 95, Guide No. 56, pages 368-375.

13. 075.066 - Door handle from the Hop Ranch Hotel, Meadowbrook, Snoqualmie. 1. Mortise lock for single door, one keyhole, 3.25" wide x 3.75" long. Brass plate front and striking plate. Screw holes at top and bottom of front plate. 2. White porcelain door knob for mortise lock, on 3.5" square spindle. 3. White porcelain door knob for mortise lock, on end of 3.5" long spindle, 5/16" spindle square. 2&3 is a complete set. PIctured and described on page 368, Montgomery Ward Catalog, 1984-85, Guide No. 56.

14. 075.067 - Door handle from the Hop Ranch Hotel, Meadowbrook, Snoqualmie. 1. Front door mortise lock with 2 keyholes and a square spindle hole for lock key. Uses 2 plated steel night keys. Ornamental bronze front and strike knobs. Raised surface is light polished bronze and background a red color. 7" long and 1 1/8" wide. Mortise 3 3/4" wide and 4 3/4" long. Embossed, one side, diamond and letters. 2. White porcelain doorknob on 5/16" on square spindle. 3. White porcelain doorknob on end of square spindle above, & screws. 2 & 3 make a set, are inserted through the lock. Pictured and described on page 369, Montgomery & Ward catalog, 1894-95, guide no 56.

Gate has 3 rails, horizontally, flowers and shrub in foreground in front of fence posts. James Rees is dressed in dark suit and cap with black leather band, white shirt, bow tie.
