Description |
Charlie Cowan and his buddies, April 6,, 1913. Barney Oldwives, Bob Burman, Teddy Tetchily. Original: 5 x 7: mounted on 7 x 9" cardboard. The picture is of three men standing along side of an early dump truck. The truck is early day type with a dump box with a load of gravel. The truck has large spokes in the wheels and the tires are the hard rubber. There are drop curtains for the doors and lanterns, railroad style, on each side of the hood, in front of the windshield. The truck is on a brick street sitting across a railroad track. The men are wearing hats or a cap. A sign on the top of a building in the distance reads Tacoma Trading Co. Charlie Cowan on the right. |
