Flood waters rising in Cedar Falls. Original. 3 x 5 1/2" black and white snapshot (yellowed) The picture shows many of the buiolding and homes of the town as the water was rising. At the right of the picture are several buldings that are floating and almost submerged. The water is above the foundations of the homes at the left of the picture. Reflections can be seen in the water. The water had not yet reached the homes at the back of the picture. Tall trees are in the background. |
