Description |
Philo Rutherford came to North Bend in 1872. His Civil War buddy, Uncle Si Merritt, kept corresponding with him and influenced him to come west; the mountains may have valuable minerals he thought. He is wearing a suit, with the top button closed. His shirt is white, and he is wearing a bow tie. His hair is parted on the side, and he has a moustache, with the ends curled up. |
